inpatient services, and surgical theaters. She has successfully performed over
900 cesarean deliveries, demonstrating exceptional expertise in obstetric care.
A graduate of Moi University with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of
Surgery (MBChB), Dr. Kaunda has built a robust career in both public and
private healthcare settings. Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Kaunda is deeply
committed to public health, with a particular focus on improving maternal and
neonatal outcomes through data-driven strategies. She holds certifications in
basic and intermediate epidemiology and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Health to further her expertise. Her academic and professional
pursuits are centered on research and innovation in areas such as prenatal care optimization, maternal mortality reduction, and the advancement of evidence-based obstetric practices.
